The Disney World Resort which is located in Central Florida is a large complex that has a four major theme parks, two water parks, several golf courses, hotels, shopping and many other amenities and attractions. You do not need admission to walk around Downtown Disney so visitors and locals alike are constantly strolling around the complex. Attractions like DisneyQuest, Cirque du Soleil and concerts at the House of Blues do require separate admission, but they are often worth the extra price.

The Disney World Resort offers several recreational activities for you and your family to do. There are several man-made waterways that flow through the Disney World Resort area. You can rent a variety of boats and watercraft if you want to explore some of these waterways. If you enjoy fishing, the Disney World Resort offers guided fishing tours throughout the waterways. A tour guide will take you to all the best places to fish along the various waterways of the Disney World Resort. While the Disney World Resort enforces a catch and release policy, the fishing tours at Disney are still quite popular.

There are also several sporting options for you to enjoy at the Disney World Resort. At your resort, you may be able to rent bicycles and surreys to ride around the resort area with. You can also take part in one of the five popular golf courses that are located on the Disney property. If you go golfing, you can rent state of the art equipment to help your game. For those who are less serious about golfing, the Disney World Resort offers two miniature golfing courses. Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland are the two mini golf courses you can enjoy.
